considermoon i can't pick a fave track on this one because it's all so damn good. when the violin goes off in rose red. when EVERYONE joins in the round in rose red. the sheer ferocity of hellfire. the vocals on lost in the cosmos. everything about elysian fields. the audience during drunk space pirate. jonny d'ville, our humble first mate. those two moons who were so in love with each other that they crashed into each other. truly wish i could've seen the mechs live, even just once.

I really hope this isn't the actual end of the Mechanisms.
This album is more of a collection of the bigrost incident, with some Ulysses and Once upon a time and the infamous 'drunk space pirate' sprinkled in.
love it Favorite track: Death To The Mechanisms.

crescentmoony36 Listening to this was like being at that last concert in person, even though I could only be there in spirit. (Like, the spirit of someone who died COSMICALLY and HORRIBLY.) Favorite track: Drunk Space Pirate.

The Mechanisms: a band of immortal space pirates roaming the universe in the starship Aurora. Some say they’re from a steampunk future, others claim they’re from a cyberpunk past, a few even whisper that they may be from a dieselpunk alternate now. They are all correct. ... more
